
Nice to meet you! I’m Rob — a developer and quant researcher in New York City. I focus on the intersection between finance and technology, motivated by the objectivity that we can achieve as investors through the study of empirical evidence, and finding ways technology can be a force multiplier for the research process. While much of what I’ve built professionally will not be found here, my inability to resist a fun problem has culminated in varied side projects which you’ll find instead.
I’ve used various tools and languages over the years, but mostly what I work with these days is Python. When I’m not in front of an IDE you’ll find me at the park swings with my wife and 18-month old, traveling anywhere that has good coffee, and running the Central Park loop.
